The Association of Computer Application (ACA) at the College of Engineering Guindy (CEG) is formulated to conduct computer applications related activities and symposiums throughout the year. Niral is a national level technical symposium organized by the postgraduate students of MCA, started from the year 2011. This is a symposium that has an implied academic aspect that distinguishes it from other symposiums. Through this symposium, every student is given an opportunity of greater degree knowledge. It would be a great platform to showcase the aspiring technical skill, co-curricular activities and come out with flying colors.
The MCA Alumni Meet is a significant event aimed at reconnecting esteemed alumni with current students and faculty. This
gathering provides opportunities for engaging networking, inspiring discussions, and a celebration of collective
achievements. It serves as a platform for alumni to reminisce about their experiences, share valuable insights, and
contribute to the vibrant community that fosters growth and collaboration among all members.
Niral '24 was an exciting event that featured a hackathon on August 29, 2024, with over 80 participants showcasing their coding and innovation skills. Following the hackathon, a series of 12 engaging events took place on August 30 and 31, attracting around 40 colleges and over 300 attendees, resulting in a total of 450+ participations. With a total prize pool of ₹90,000, the event celebrated technology, creativity, and collaboration among students and institutions.
The Alumni Meet held on September 14, 2024, was a memorable occasion that brought together esteemed alumni, current students, and faculty. The event featured engaging networking sessions, inspiring discussions, and a celebration of shared achievements. Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to reminisce, share experiences, and strengthen connections within our vibrant community. The meet successfully fostered collaboration and dialogue, reinforcing the lasting impact of our alumni network.
